Is ChurchMatchUp free for people searching for a church?
Yes. Searching and viewing your church matches is free. You do not need to pay a membership fee to find a church.
How are church matches determined?
We compare what you tell us matters to you with information about churches in your search area. The goal is to surface churches that best fit your preferences rather than simply showing the biggest or closest church.
Can a church pay to rank higher?
No. Churches cannot buy better placement or a higher match score. Enhanced membership provides church tools and analytics, not preferential seeker rankings.
Where does church information come from?
Information can come from churches themselves, public sources, and ChurchMatchUp research. Because churches change, we encourage authorized church representatives to claim and keep their information current.
What is Plan a Visit?
Plan a Visit lets you voluntarily send contact details to a church you are interested in visiting. ChurchMatchUp delivers the request to that church. Visitor personal information is designed to be deleted after delivery while anonymous lead counts remain.
Do you give churches lists of people who searched nearby?
No. Community analytics are anonymous and aggregated. We do not give churches seeker email lists simply because someone searched in their area.
What does ChurchMatchUp Enhanced include?
Enhanced helps a church make more of its ChurchMatchUp presence with a website link, profile photos, church engagement analytics such as search appearances, profile views, website visits and directions clicks, plus anonymous local demand insights and a monthly insight summary. Enhanced never improves a church’s match score or seeker ranking.

Enhanced is $29.99 per year at our current Founders Rate (regular $59.99/year), or $5.99 per month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled, and you can cancel anytime and keep Enhanced through the paid period. We intentionally keep Enhanced affordable. The fee helps offset the real costs of maintaining church information, running searches, and operating and improving ChurchMatchUp.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
Canceling stops the next renewal while keeping Enhanced through the paid period. Full refunds are available on request within 7 days of a new purchase or renewal; approved refunds end Enhanced immediately. See our Terms of Service for the complete policy.
How does a church claim or correct its profile?
Use Claim Your Church to sign in and manage an eligible church profile. If information is wrong and you need help, use Contact Us and choose Church information correction.
